Platform Youth Theatre Company was formed in July 2008 by its Founder Paul Collin. Paul is a teacher in local secondary school and a Professional in the Arts & Entertainments industry, Paul wanted to be able to offer the young people of Hastings further opportunities to perform in front of a live audience, where by gaining skills of confidence and self discipline but also formal training in the performing arts. After several months of brainstorming ‘Platform’ Youth Theatre Company was formed.

The aim is to give young people the opportunity to rehearse and perform in shows throughout the year in local venues.
